Rebuild of the eCommerce on Shopify with reorganization of the catalog, clearer management of products and variants, and later operational optimizations.

## The project at a glance

- **Wix → Shopify migration**: Rebuild of the store on Shopify starting from the previous Wix site.
- **Jewelry catalog**: Organization of products and configurations to make the catalog clearer and more manageable.
- **Variants and images**: Matching of the correct images to variants when the match can be deduced from the product.
- **Store development**: Later work on catalog, translations, content and store configurations.

## Starting point

Tiziana Piola had her website on Wix. The project came from the need to rebuild the eCommerce on Shopify, keeping the brand identity but moving products, variants and catalog management to a platform designed specifically for online commerce.

The work was not a simple transfer of pages: the store was recreated on Shopify and then refined over time according to the real needs of the catalog.

## Turning the platform change into a more solid eCommerce foundation

Moving from Wix to Shopify meant correctly rebuilding the commercial structure of the site, not just replicating its look.

In the jewelry catalog it was important to distinguish complete products, components that can be bought separately and variants, and also to link the correct images to the different options to reduce ambiguity during selection.

## From Wix to a Shopify store built for the real catalog

The migration made it possible to rebuild the store around the actual logic of the products and the brand's later operational needs.

- Before: Existing site on Wix
- Before: Catalog to be rebuilt on the new platform
- Before: Products and configurations to be realigned
- Before: Variant management to be made clearer
- After: Store recreated on Shopify
- After: Catalog organized on the new platform
- After: Products and components kept distinct when needed
- After: Variants linked to the relevant images

## The work

- **Platform migration**: Rebuild of the store moving from Wix to Shopify.
- **Structure and web design**: Build of the eCommerce experience on the new platform while staying consistent with the brand.
- **Catalog**: Reorganization of products and configurations based on what is actually sold.
- **Products and variants**: Separation of products when necessary and matching of the correct images to variants.
- **Translations**: Review and completion of the English version of the store.
- **Content and policies**: Check and update of the store's informational content and policies.

## The result

Tiziana Piola now has a Shopify store recreated from the previous Wix site and organized to manage catalog, products, variants, images and languages in a more structured way.

The project continued after the initial build with targeted work on the catalog and the store configurations.

## From launch to managing the real details of the catalog

The value of the project did not stop at the migration. Later work addressed concrete catalog cases, such as the correct separation between Orizzonte, Rettangolo and the pendant that can be bought on its own, as well as matching images to variants and reviewing translations.
