The move from PrestaShop to Shopify came from the need to reduce maintenance complexity without losing the history accumulated over the years. The new ecosystem had to support a very large technical catalog, financing and installment payments, operational rental, ERP integrations and an experience suited both to the professional and to the customer who needs advice. ## Migrating data without losing their meaning The main difficulty was not simply importing the products, but keeping the relationships between customers, orders and historical references consistent and bringing the features the business needs back to Shopify.
