Complete redesign of a store previously entrusted to an agency, with a new premium theme, Liquid customizations and targeted work on speed and Core Web Vitals.

## The project at a glance

- **Redesign**: Complete redesign of the existing Shopify store.
- **Premium theme**: New graphic foundation consistent with the high-ticket positioning of the catalog.
- **Performance**: Work on loading speed and Core Web Vitals.
- **Liquid development**: Features and customizations implemented directly in the theme.

## Starting point

Luxury of Homes already had a Shopify eCommerce, previously developed by an agency. The team had not been satisfied with the working relationship: communication was fragmented and the result did not fully meet expectations.

Francesco Guiducci came in as the single freelance point of reference to redesign the store, introduce a new theme and work directly on design, code and performance.

## Premium quality, performance and simpler communication

The project required raising the aesthetic level without making the site any heavier. Some loading problems made it necessary to work on performance and Core Web Vitals as well as on the interface.

It was also important for the team to have one person to deal with, instead of moving between several people at an agency.

## From a fragmented project to a redesign followed by a single contact

The redesign brought aesthetic direction, custom development and technical optimization into a single workflow.

- Before: Previous experience with an agency that was not satisfying
- Before: Communication spread across several people
- Before: Loading problems
- Before: Design and features to be rethought
- After: Complete redesign
- After: New premium theme
- After: Liquid customizations
- After: Work on speed and Core Web Vitals
- After: A single technical contact

## The work

- **Store analysis**: Evaluation of the existing structure and theme.
- **UX/UI redesign**: Redesign of the main customer-facing areas.
- **Premium theme**: Adaptation of the graphic foundation without introducing a page builder.
- **Theme development**: Code work for needs not covered by the standard configuration.
- **Catalog**: Organization of the presentation of products and collections.
- **Responsive**: Consistent experience across desktop and mobile.

## The result

The result is a store more consistent with a high-ticket catalog, more refined aesthetically and lightened in the points that affected loading.

The project is a good illustration of the advantage of the IFG freelance model: direct communication, clear responsibility and technical problem solving with no intermediate steps.

## Problem solving and direct responsibility

Among the qualities clients most often recognize in Francesco Guiducci is the engineer's approach: breaking the problem down, finding the cause and arriving at a practical solution. In this project that mindset was applied to the redesign as much as to performance.

## Does your Shopify store need a redesign?

The starting point is the real state of the theme and the catalog, to define what to keep, what to redesign and where technical work is needed. For a conversation, a direct contact by WhatsApp, email or phone is enough.
