# Academy. The method applied to Shopify

The IFG eCommerce Academy brings together guides, checklists and practical resources based on the method Francesco Guiducci uses in his daily Shopify work: complex technical procedures turned into clear steps that merchants who manage their own store can apply too.

## What it contains

Resources may cover configuration, themes, Liquid, catalogues, performance, automation and data structure. They are designed for Shopify stores of different sizes on Basic, Grow and Advanced: when a feature depends on the plan in use, the specific resource says so instead of presenting it as universally available.

For tax, legal or compliance topics, the Academy explains technical aspects and Shopify configurations but does not replace the advice of a qualified accountant, lawyer or other relevant professional.

**Are the Academy resources specific to the Italian eCommerce market?+**

Many resources are written with Italian merchants in mind, but the technical Shopify side is always kept separate from tax and legal matters. When a topic depends on legislation or the specific case, the resource states the limits of the guide and recommends checking with the appropriate professional before making tax or legal decisions.

**Why use a technical resource instead of relying only on scattered tutorials?+**

Academy resources organise procedures, checks and steps used in real projects into one sequence, reducing the time needed to reconstruct information scattered across different sources. They do not replace practical experience or promise automatic results: they help work with a more orderly and repeatable method.

**Are Academy resources updated for Shopify releases?+**

Resources are reviewed when relevant Shopify features, interfaces or procedures change. Before applying a technical step it is still appropriate to check the platform’s current version, because some features can change or depend on the plan being used.

**After using a resource, can I request technical consulting?+**

Yes. Technical consulting clarifies a specific question, mentoring follows a broader practical programme. These services are separate from the resources, which are free; implementation of changes to the store is agreed separately.

**Do I need to be a programmer to use the templates and guides?+**
